These shots were created for a previous demo reel intro, meant to appear one after another in time with the music.
Shot 1 imitates a sci-fi hud turning on. It's mostly animated vector shapes layered under a CRT filter, deep glow, relections, and vignette to sell that it's projected on a screen.
Shot 2 is meant to be some dream-like wind chimes. The wavy lines are paths containing points, each point moving with the same as the point above it, but on a delay. Then, that delayed point is multiplied by the sequence number of that point, making it move a little wider than the point above it, creating a whip like motion. The circles use a duplicated version of that path to attach to a point, moving with it on a slight delay, with the glowing bits inside moving on a bigger delay.
Shot 3 is a dragon's eye shrouded in flames. I first drew the eye in clip studio, separating the eyeball and the outer red scales. Then, used CC Sphere on separate solid layer as the eyelid, rotating it to open the eye. Lastly, the outer scales were morphed a little when the eye is closed to better emphasis the effect. The flames are shape layers with turbulent displacement and turbulent noise.
Shot 4 is meant to be a good contrast from the 3 shots before it, being more cute and whimsical. Nothing to complicated with this one. The background is turbulent displacement, mirrored horizontally and vertically.
