This project utilizes complex After Effects expressions, as well as Blender geometry nodes for the final shot.
Shot 1 uses the Flex plug-in to reshape rows and columns of a grid. The animation on the right randomizes those rows and columns movements. That animation is then pre-comped and add to the grid in the animation on the left.
In shot 2, each shape is colored depending on how close it is to the center, then slightly changing the hue, saturation, and lightness.
Shot 3 uses the Set Matte effect to take it's matte from 2 layers to create an overlapping color.
The final shot is the only shot to use Blender, utilizing geometry nodes to create this wave of lifting pillars.
